TOKYO -- Japan's Takeda Pharmaceutical, America's Pfizer, British-Swedish multinational AstraZeneca and seven other big pharmaceuticals plan to jointly assess the greenhouse gas emissions of their suppliers in an attempt to join the global trend toward decarbonization, Nikkei has learned.
