Has AMD revealed Zen 4/AM5's launch date?

It looks like AMD's Ryzen 7000 series is launching on September 15th, at least if the image below is to be believed. Here, we have what appears to be an AMD representative briefing retailers and distributors on AMD's Ryzen 7000 series launch, a launch which will see AMD release new Zen 4 processors and new AM5 series motherboards.

AMD's September 15th launch date falls in line with AMD's Fall 2022 launch plans for Zen 4, and makes a lot of sense given RDNA 3's rumoured October-Mid-November release timeframe. AMD released its Ryzen 5000 series shortly before their Radeon RX 6000 series, so it makes sense that history would be repeating itself here.

By the end of this year, AMD fans should be able to build systems with new Ryzen and Radeon products, both of which promise to deliver impressive performance levels.

AMD's new AM5 motherboard platform will be launching alongside AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors, supporting DDR5 memory exclusively. Right now, it remains to be seen whether or not DRAM manufacturers can supply enough memory to meet consumer demand, or if DDR5 DRAM pricing will lower sufficiently to make DDR5, and Ryzen 7000, seem like a worthy investment. If DDR5 continues to be priced poorly, it will reflect badly on AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors.
