LG's new 28MQ780 monitor is ideal for multi-tasking
Dual-monitor setups are ideal for multitasking, allowing users to look at several data sets simultaneously or to quickly switch from one task to another. For multi-tasking environments, LG has created a new monitor that's designed to offer users a dual-screen experience with a single display. This screen is the LG 28MQ780, a monitor that is also known as the LG Dual-Up.
The Dual-Up features a display resolution of 256xx2880, a 16:18 resolution that's equivalent to two 1440p screens that have been stacked on top of each other. This screen's size is equivalent to two stacked 21.5-inch screens, with the entire screen being 28-inches in size diagonally.

LG's Dual-Up uses a Nano IPS display panel, and the screen overs 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The screen features dual HDMI inputs and a DisplayPort input, allowing the screen to be connected to most modern devices.
Through USB-C, the Dual-Up can connect to devices and deliver users up to 90W of power. This is ideal for use with connected laptops and other portable devices. Using other connectors, this screen can also be used with two devices simultaneously. Integrated into this screen is two 7W speakers.
LG has listed their Dual-Up 28MQ780 monitor with an MSRP of $699 in the US and €699 in Europe.
