Sapphire RX 6700 without XT
Sapphire was the first company to introduce AMD’s latest (and possibly the last) gaming desktop RDNA2 GPU called Radeon RX 6700.

Last month AMD officially launched its Radeon RX 6700 graphics card. This happened just a week after Sapphire announced (and even started selling) its Radeon 6700 graphics card, without the RX and XT monikers. AMD confirmed that such a model does exist, except it should still carry the RX branding. This was a brief introduction to Sapphire RX 6700 PULSE.
As mentioned, this model is already on sale in China, but we have not seen it on sale anywhere else yet. As it turns out, one can find listings featuring Navi 22 XL GPU in France and Spain for €570 to €580 with VAT. Spanish PC Componentes are running a sale on this card with price reduced to €380 EUR, which frankly is much more suitable price for this card. However, AMD never confirmed the MSRP for this SKU, so it is hard to say which one is more accurate.

What this essentially means is that RX 6700 PULSE is no longer exclusive to the Chinese market, which is kind of surprising considering AMD did not even bother to properly introduce this card through a press release or even a tweet (it simply appeared on a website).
Sapphire RX 6700 is a custom model featuring Navi 22 GPU with 2304 Stream Processors (out of 2560 available). It also has reduced memory capacity to 10GB and memory bus to 160-bit. This means that the bandwidth will be reduced, and it will affect gaming performance. Such specs are in fact the exact same ones as Sapphire GPRO X080 mining-card. This raises a question if the company didn’t simply rebrand its mining cards for gaming to preserve profits.
Based on the limited performance tests that have been posted yet, the RX 6700 SKU is a mid-range model offering around 10% better scores than Radeon RX 6650XT in 3DMark Time Spy. Whether such performance is worth 500 EUR, we will leave for our readers to judge.
