This GPU is a lot more suitable for gaming than AMD's 4GB designs

Sapphire has revealed a new RX 6500 XT model that offers two times as much VRAM as AMD's standard model
If there is one thing that we have always hated about AMD's Radeon RX 6500 XT, it's that the graphics card launched with a 4GB frame buffer. Simply put, 4GB of memory is not enough for for many modern PC games, requiring users of this GPU to dramatically lower the graphics settings of their PC games. Now, Sapphire has addressed this with a new 8GB model of their RX 6500 XT PULSE.
With a game clock of 2695 MHz and a boost clock of 2855 MHz, Sapphire's new 8GB RX 6500 XT PULSE is slightly faster than AMD's reference RX 6500 XT specifications, which lists a game clock speed of 2610 MHz and a boost clock speed of 2815 MHz. Like other RX 6500 XT models, Sapphire's RX 6500 XT 8GB PULSE GPU features 16 MB of Infinity Cache, and 18Gbps memory speeds over a 64-bit memory bus.
Like other RX 6500 XT models, Sapphire's RX 6500 XT 8GB Pulse model only supports two display outputs, supporting HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. Like Sapphire's 4GB RX 6500 XT PULSE graphics card, their 8GB model features a dual-fan, dual-slot heatsink design and a backplate.
With a 2x memory capacity boost, Sapphire's new RX 6500 XT is now a lot better suited to playing new PC games. Purchasers of this graphics card model no longer need to fear running out of VRAM as quickly, though it is worth noting that this new GPU model offers PC gamers no other advantages.
At this time, it is unknown when this new 8GB RX 6500 XT will be seen at retailers, or how much this new graphics card will cost when compared to the GPU's existing 4GB models.
