Expect price increases for AMD's premium Ryzen SKUs

AMD's high-end Ryzen processors are expected to launch with higher prices than before
AMD's Ryzen 7000 series is on the horizon, and thanks to Videocardz we can now have a look at what appears to be the retail packaging for AMD's Ryzen 9 7000 series processors. These CPUs will be AMD's highest-end Ryzen desktop processors, which should feature up to 16 cores and 32 threads.
Videocardz has claimed that this Ryzen 9 7000 box design was leaked through an internal AMD presentation, stating that AMD's Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 7000 series processors may feature different box designs. Videocardz has also stated that their source for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series packaging has also revealed a pricing overview for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series, suggesting that AMD will be pushing up their prices for premium Ryzen 7000 series processors.
AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X is the budget king!
Based on AMD's latest rumours, AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X will have an MSRP that is equal to AMD's Ryzen 7 5700X. Assuming that both CPU models offer users eight cores and sixteen threads, AMD's Ryzen 7700X should offer buyers a large performance leap with a very reasonable price.
Higher core clock speeds, DDR5 support and Zen 4 architectural enhancements should all help AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X to surpass its predecessor, with recent reports suggesting that this model will feature a base clock speed of 4.5 GHz and a boost clock speed of 5.4 GHz ( more information here ).
Higher pricing for premium SKUs
AMD's Ryzen 7 7800X, and AMD's Ryzen 9 7000 series processors are all allegedly going to have higher MSRP prices than their Ryzen 5000 based predecessors. At this time, the reason behind these price increases are unknown, though we expect AMD's high core count Ryzen 7000 series processors to see the largest generational leaps in performance with Zen 4 and 5nm.
AMD is expected to reveal their Ryzen 7000 series processors later this month and make them available to consumers sometime next month. That means that we can expect to hear more about AMD's Ryzen 7000 series soon.
