TeamGroup’s DDR5 memory ready for next-gen CPUs
Could this be Hynix A-die chip?

We were notified that there is a new DDR5 memory kit listed on Newegg. Unlike most kits out there, this one is above 7 GHz (or GT/s if you prefer). This memory was made by Team Group, and it’s part of the T-Force Delta RGB series. What is interesting is that TeamGroup does not actually list such a speed on their website yet, the fastest kit is 6600 MT/s, and it’s also CL34.

A dual 16GB kit would cost 350 USD, which is a really good price. Just one year ago, you could find 2×16GB kit in the same store at the same price, except that was DDR5-4800 kit. This kit being 7200 MT/s is definitely ready for next-gen desktop platforms: AMD Ryzen 7000 and Intel Raptor Lake, both set to launch very soon.
The description for this product listed with easy-to-remember name “FF3D532G7200HC34ADC01” mentions a CAS Latency of 34, but this is as far as the timing information goes.
Furthermore, this could be one of the first Hynix A-die memory, considering that M-dies were usually seen with transfers up to 7000 MT/s. Since this is one of the first such kits at Newegg, there is a good chance more will be listed very soon, so make sure to have your eyes peeled.
