Sackboy: A Big Adventure is coming to PC with DLSS, Ultrawide support, and an unlocked framerate
Sony has today confirmed that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be coming to PC on October 27th, launching on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. This announcement and launch are an incredibly fast turnaround from Sony, with their game's reveal and launch being less than a month apart.
Like most recent PlayStation-to-PC conversions from Sony, Sackboy: A Big Adventure will support Nvidia's DLSS upscaling technology on PC and feature support for an unlocked framerate, ultrawide PC displays and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) displays.
So far, the PC trailer for Sackboy: A Big Adventure is only available from Sony's PlayStation Latin America YouTube channel, though we expect Sony to reveal the game more broadly very soon.
Earlier this year, Sony revealed its plans to expand PlayStation's prescience within the PC gaming market, with recent PlayStation-to-PC releases being God of War, Days Gone, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn. Later this year, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PC, and Sony has confirmed that they expect their PC earnings to almost quadruple this year. That means that we should expect to see more Sony games arrive on PC in the near future. Returnal perhaps?
