What is Meta Quest?
Meta Quest is the name for Meta’s Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) hardware brand. They sell VR & AR headsets based on technology produced by Oculus such as the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro, which can be used to play a range of video games. They also produce video calling equipment in the form of the Meta Portal series of devices, as well as smart glasses made in partnership with Ray Bans.
Can you connect Meta Quest 2 to PC?
Meta Quest headsets can be connected to your PC wirelessly via Meta Air Link, or through Quest Link using a USB-C cable. You can then use your PC to improve your gaming experience, effectively using your PC’s processing power to help run your games. However, you’ll need to bear the fact that you’re plugged in in mind when you’re playing - Meta recommends you take a seat if you’re using a wired connection.
Do Meta Quest products come with a warranty?
All Meta Quest headsets come with a one-year warranty as default, but you can opt for extended warranties through Meta Warranty Plus to extend your coverage up to two years. Meta Plus warranties can cover you for accidental damage, and also apply to any in-box accessories too.
