KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia's opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was sworn in as the country's 10th prime minister on Thursday, ending days of post-election uncertainty.

The ceremony was held at the palace in front of King Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, hours after Anwar, 75, was appointed prime minister by the monarch.
