AMD launches RX 5300 graphics card.
AMD Radeon RX 5300 – Navi with 3GB GDDR6 memory
The RX 5300 appears to be an OEM only model. It features Navi 14 GPU with the same Stream Processor count as RX 5500 XT – 1408, in fact, it even uses the same D332 board design.
The graphics card feature only 3GB of GDDR6 memory. This forced AMD to create a model with an unusual memory bus of 96-bit. Such memory bus paired with 14 Gbps memory modules gives a maximum bandwidth of 168 GB/s ( -25% lower than RX 5500 XT).
AMD does not list base clock for its RX 5300 model, but we learn it has a boost clock of 1445 MHz (what AMD calls Game Clock) and peak clock of 1645 MHz (what AMD calls Boost Clock).
The Radeon RX 5300 is an OEM model for casual 1080p gaming. Such memory capacity certainly won’t allow textures to be at the highest quality.
