Linux 6.1 integrates the exciting Multi-Gen LRU (MGLRU) overhaul of the page reclamation code, the initial Rust programming language support though still being built up, the new AMD Platform Management Framework, a variety of open-source graphics driver improvements, Btrfs performance optimizations, the Kernel Memory Sanitizer, introduction of the Maple Tree data structure, and a lot of other hardware driver work.
