Nikki Haley announces U.S. presidential bid for 2024

WASHINGTON -- Nikki Haley, a former U.N. ambassador and governor of South Carolina, announced her candidacy for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination on Tuesday, taking on her onetime boss Donald Trump.

"I'm Nikki Haley and I'm running for president," she said in a video.
