AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU drops to $799 ($100 under MSRP)

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT gets even cheaper

Just a few days after a new discount, the price of Navi 31-based RX 7900 XT GPU has now fallen to $799.

The RX 7900 XT isn’t selling well it seems. Ever since its debut in December last year, the card has almost immediately been discounted from its original MSRP of $899. Just a few days ago, the price has dropped to $830, which was the lowest price for this card since launch.

Today, the RX 7900 XT is now available at $819 for the reference model and even cheaper because at $799 for the custom ASRock Phantom GPU. What this means is that the RX 7900 XT is now $100 cheaper than it was at launch, and that’s just 80 days after release.

Gamers in UK can also find RX 7900 XT at a lower price. The card is now available for just £799.99 through Overclockers . But what is more important is that all cards are in stock, so they are ready to ship.

Unfortunately, the price cut only affects RX 7900 XT with cut-down Navi 31 GPU and 20 GB VRAM. The flagship RX 7900 XTX 24GB model is still not available at MSRP at many stores. However, the $799 price for the XT SKU will undoubtedly put a lot of pressure on RTX 4080 series, not to mention the RTX 4070 Ti, which is a slower card with only 12GB memory, but somehow still available at $799+.
