Arc Pro A60 series incoming

The professional Intel Arc lineup currently features threes models: A40, A30 and A40M. All these cards are based on the same ACM-G11 GPU with up to 8 Xe-Cores. What they also have in common is lack of any DIY availability, as Intel workstation GPUs are only offered through OEM partners.

The Arc PRO series deployment is lackluster, and it will take a very long time before Intel is ready to compete with AMD Radeon Pro and NVIDIA RTX series. However, it may appear that the company might have another GPU in the works, namely the Arc Pro A60M.

Unlike existing Arc Pro models, this would have twice as many cores (16 Xe-Cores or 256 Xe Engines/Execution Units). This implies that the GPU is either a cut-down ACM-G10 or the rumored ACM-G12 . The latter has been mentioned numerous times, and it might actually be the GPU that was spotted on leaked roadmaps.

Both the desktop A60 and mobile A60 variants are, as expected, twice as fast as A50/40 GPUs. The OpenCL output does not confirm the memory size for these SKUs, but one might assume it is 8GB 128-bit platform.

And speaking of Arc GPU deployment, Intel has also seemingly forgotten to launch its gaming Arc A580 GPU, which is equipped with 24 Xe-Cores as far as official slides go. At this point, one might wonder if this card even has a place in current Arc lineup considering the recent price cuts of A7 series.
