A single-chiplet design with 8 cores is what is underneath the heatspreader of Ryzen 7 7800X3D. This processor features 8 Zen4 cores with direct access to 3D V-Cache. Unlike the Ryzen 9 7900X3D series with two chiplets, this processor needs no software to decide which chiplet performs the tasks.
The 8-core and 16-thread design is equipped with an extra 64MB of L3 cache (3D V-Cache). This has been proven to bring massive improvement in games, where the Ryzen 7000X3D excel at.
