And so it begins
A Polish retailer lowers the price of recently launched NVIDIA GPU by 9%.

NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 launched in Poland at 3199 PLN, which is the price of the Founders Edition and cheapest models with dual-fan cooling solutions and 8-pin power connectors, or what we are used to calling them ‘MSRP cards’. With the arrival of the fourth Ada Lovelace card for desktops, NVIDIA has started offering their Founders design to Polish customers directly. Conveniently for us, this confirms the exact price for RTX 4070 in the country.
Palit RTX 4070 Dual, one of the ‘MSRP’ cards that were launched last week. This is a dual-slot and dual-fan model with an 8-pin connector. The Palit GPU model is not factory-overclocked and does not have any unnecessary features that gamers may consider premium. Nevertheless, this card comes with small RGB LED strip and even has a full cover backplate, so the minimum is there.
The card is currently listed at 2913 PLN, which is exactly 8.9% cheaper than MSRP. Worth noting that this card is not the only model already sold below MSRP in Poland, gamers can just as easily find MSRP cards already for 2999 PLN from other brands.

As long as pricing is concerned, NVIDIA obviously has a headroom for further reduction, but this is not really news because almost every GPU ever released has a higher margin at launch. The only question is how quickly can NVIDIA and AIBs reduce it.
