AMD announces $269 Radeon RX 7600 RDNA3 graphics card

AMD Radeon RX 7600 now officially

The cheapest desktop RDNA3 graphics card thus far.

AMD today officially announces its Radeon RX 7600 non-XT graphics card. This is the first desktop GPU that will fall under the $300 price level. The company will launch this GPU tomorrow, just one day after the NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti graphics card.

AMD is comparing its RX 7600 GPU to the RX 6600 RDNA2 predecessor. The new SKU has more cores (2048 vs. 1792), higher clocks (now up to 2.66 GHz core and 18 Gbps memory) and supports AV1 encoding. This Navi 33XL-based graphics card will have the same Infinity Cache size as the RX 6600, but it will be of the newer generation. Furthermore, AMD confirms that their RX 7600 cards will support DisplayPort 2.1, but it will be up to board partners to offer this support.

Most importantly, the RX 7600 will cost $269, which is now officially confirmed. This is much cheaper than the RX 6600 at launch ($329), but one must remember this GPU launched at a crazy time for the GPU market.

AMD claims that RX 7600 will be 29% faster than RX 6600 on average in 1080p gaming (Max Settings), which sounds like a better upgrade than RTX 4060 Ti compared to RTX 3060 Ti. Later today, reviewers will publish their test results featuring AMD MBA (Made by AMD) and some custom designs. Kindly note that the card officially hits the shelves tomorrow.
