A pictures and screenshots shared by @wnxod give us a very first look at a special GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card. The Turing architecture may already be 5 years old, but the flagship gaming card from that generation should still give great results.

Turns out, someone was able to add 44GB of GDDR6 memory to this card, which originally features 11GB across 352-bit. This unusual memory design offered up to 616 GB/s of bandwidth, which is on par with modern gaming cards.

The same board design is used by TITAN RTX, which was the last gaming TITAN that NVIDIA made. There are up to 24 memory slots on each side of the board, but the other side is not occupied on the RTX 2080 Ti. The mod simply replaces existing modules to 2GB capacity and doubles their number by installing the modules on the back.

The GPU-Z output confirms 45056 MB (44 GB) of memory is installed at full bandwidth (616 GB/s). It appears that the card used for this mod was manufactured by Leadtek who are using NVIDIA reference PCB design for their card.

Even though GPU-Z and DirectX diagnostic info screenshots were shared, the card does not actually work in games or benchmarks, as confirmed by the poster. Memory-modded GeForce cards may require custom BIOS or special NVIDIA Control power profile changes, which is a common issue.
