It appears AMD will soon release a new 6-core processor that may lack one of the most common features of AM5 CPUs. The Ryzen 5 7500F shall be AMD’s first desktop CPU to lack integrated graphics support, as indicated by the name of this product copying Intel Core F-Series processors that also have integrated graphics disabled.

According to the first information that is publicly available, the CPU has indeed 6 cores, and it should be around 100 MHz slower than Ryzen 5 7600, offering the same core count. The CPU has already made an appearance on PugetBench website running on an X670E motherboard and DDR5-4800 memory.

It is worth noting that the absence of integrated GPU support has led to modifications in the third chiplet known as IOD. For this generation of AMD Ryzen desktop CPUs the company has located the integrated GPU subsystem in this chiplet rather than in the compute tiles. The previous generations of AMD Ryzen desktop CPUs lacked iGPU support except for the G-Series based on mobile APU silicons.

The CPU is reported to have a price that is approximately $10 lower than the Ryzen 5 7600, which was initially released at $229 and has now decreased to $219 as of the current time.
