GIGABYTE RTX 3060 TI Gaming OC Pro

We have the first renders of the upcoming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card from Gigabyte. The new model pictured below is called Gaming OC Pro. This is the first known triple-fan RTX 3060 Ti design. Two days ago we posted renders of RTX 3060 Ti Eagle, which is a dual-fan design.

The GAMING OC PRO is a 2.2-slot card w a full custom PCB equipped with 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors. In comparison, the Eagle (OC) series only offer a single 8-pin power connector (a default configuration for RTX 3060 Ti series). One of the renders shows that the graphics card is equipped with at least three heatsinks, each attached to a separate VRM or GPU section.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is a new SKU based on 8nm NVIDIA Ampere architecture. The graphics card is expected to launch in December, after alleged postponing of the release by two weeks.

The RTX 3060 Ti features 4864 CUDA cores and 8GB GDDR6 memory clocked at 14 Gbps. With a memory bus of 256-bit, the card has a maximum theoretical bandwidth of 448 GB/s. The rumored boost clock of 1665 MHz allows the card to reach 16.2 TFLOPs of single-precision compute power, which is around 4 TFLOPs less than RTX 3070, also featuring the GA104 GPU, but with more cores (5888).

The RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards are expected to consume under 200W and to cost around 400 USD. Both values are not set in stone and we are awaiting further information from our sources. The new SKU would launch shortly after AMD releases its Radeon RX 6000 series, which are now expected on November 18th with custom designs launching by the end of the month.
