A 32-year-old woman is dead and five others, including a one-year-old child, have injuries ranging from life-threatening to serious after a two-vehicle crash in Uxbridge.
Durham Regional Police officers were called to the area of Concession Road 6 and Sandford Road just after 2 p.m. on Monday.
Police say the 32-year-old woman was riding in a white Subaru SUV that was heading north on Concession when it collided with a Cadillac SUV travelling west on Sanford.
She was rushed to hospital where she later died.
Three other people in the Subaru were taken to hospital – including the toddler and a 29-year-old woman who suffered life-threatening injuries, and the driver who has serious injuries.
The driver and the passenger in the Cadillac SUV are being treated for serious injuries in hospital.
Police have not yet revealed the cause of crash.
