Corsair 5000D and 5000D Airflow Listed

Ahead of its launch, Romanian retailer IT Galaxy put out listings of the Corsair 5000D and 5000D Airflow cases. Positioned a notch above the 4000D-series, the 5000D and 5000D Airflow are slightly larger ATX mid-tower cases, and geared toward gamers building well-endowed premium gaming PCs with liquid cooling. As of now, there appear to be two variants, the 5000D is the "default" variant with a visually-concealed front (discreet intakes); while the 5000D Airflow is its sibling with a mesh front-panel for better intake. Given that IT Galaxy mentions "Black" in the model name, there could be other color variants of the two cases.

Inside, the 5000D/5000D Airflow feature a conventional horizontally partitioned layout, the the upper (motherboard tray) compartment serving up room for graphics cards up to 42 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 17 cm in height. In addition to 7 conventional expansion slots, there are two vertical slots, letting you show off your graphics card from the case's tempered glass side panel. Ventilation options include three 120 mm or two 140 mm front fan intakes, three 120 mm intakes along the plane of the motherboard tray, where you can mount a triple-fan radiator; and three 120 mm or two 140 mm top exhausts, besides the 120 mm rear exhaust. Two 120 mm spins come included with the case, and a 6-port PWM fan hub.
