Colorful is unveiling its first AMD-based laptop under the Colorfire brand, a name that should be well-known among graphics enthusiasts for its previous Radeon GPU releases. While the company had shifted its focus exclusively to the GeForce series for a few years, the Colorfire brand has later resurfaced with unique designs, including distinctive blue and pink models , followed by the eye-catching MEOW series featuring orange and purple variants .

Colorful has been actively working on a new laptop design within the MEOW brand. This laptop is equipped with either the Ryzen 7 7735H or Ryzen 7 8845HS, both boasting 8 cores but based on different architectures: Zen3+ and Zen4. The company plans to launch two systems with the following configurations and pricing details. Recent leaks suggest that a 16-inch version of the laptop is in the pipeline, although it hasn’t been released yet.

- Ryzen 7 8845HS + RTX 4070 + 16GB RAM + 512G Storage: 7499 RMB (6699 RMB promotion)
- Ryzen 7 7735H + RTX 4050 + 16GB RAM + 512G Storage: 5499 RMB (4999 RMB promotion)

The R15 laptop will be available with either GeForce RTX 4050 or RTX 4070 graphics, with no mention of the RTX 4060 option. Notably, the RTX 4070 laptop boasts a 140W TGP unrestricted by NVIDIA Max-Q technologies. In terms of display, the 15.6-inch screen supports a 2.5K resolution at a 165Hz refresh rate. Alternatively, there’s a 1080p option with a slightly lower 144Hz refresh rate.
The laptop features an orange lid, adhering to the design set by the GeForce RTX 40 Orange Cat series. Interestingly, this isn’t just a sticker, but a ceramic coating that dynamically changes colors depending on the viewing angle.
As we have learned, Colorful is gearing up to announce the MEOW laptop for the global market next week. Seems like this launch won’t be limited to China after all.
