Xbox allegedly set to launch an all-digital Xbox Series X this summer
An all-digital experience, similar to Xbox Series S but with a more powerful AMD APU.

Exputer reports that Microsoft is set to launch an all-digital version of the Xbox Series X in either June or July. The most interesting thing about this new version is that it wouldn’t have the usual black color, but instead it would come in a white design.
The concept of an all-digital iteration of the Series X comes as no surprise, as confirmed by leaked slides presented during the FTC vs. Microsoft case. These slides showcased a new cylindrical design for the digital version, albeit initially in black.

Under the project codenamed Brooklin, identified as Series X Refresh, Microsoft aims to achieve a 15% reduction in power consumption. Additionally, a new standby mode that further minimizes power usage is also listed as a ne wfeature. The refresh is expected to introduce a 2TB storage option and a USB Type-C connector on the front.
As per the report, the upcoming white edition is expected to be more budget-friendly than the current system, which has a retail price of $499. It is speculated that the cost could be reduced by approximately $50 to $100. The source of this information, a website, claims to have been shown footage corroborating this news. However, the actual footage has not been shared with the public.
In a recent statement, Phil Spencer, the Head of Xbox, clarified that the company has no intentions of moving away from physical discs. The purported all-digital option for the console is not intended to replace the existing system, but rather to provide an alternative, similar to the PlayStation 5 digital version.
