Colorfire launches GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER MEOW edition for cat lovers

Colorfire launches more cats

The RTX 4070 SUPER MEOW released.

COLORFIRE has unveiled the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER in an eye-catching Orange Shadow color design. The card is part of the MEOW series that the company launched last year. As previously reported, Colorfire is actually a subbrand of Colorful (the largest GPU vendor in China), which the company uses for some fancy designs like the MEOW cards.

The new SKU is the first MEOW in the RTX 40 SUPER series. The company has released RTX 4070 SUPER model first, which appears to be more or less identical to the original RTX 4070 model. This model gets an upgraded AD104 GPU now with 7168 CUDA cores. There is no change to the memory configuration of 12GB GDDR6X, though. However, the SUPER SKU has a higher TGP of 220W (so 20W higher than original model). Worth noting that RTX 4070 SUPER MEOW is not factory-overclocked, so gamers should expect standard 2475 MHz boost clock on this design.

The company has put triple 90+80+90 mm fan cooler design supported by three 6 mm heatpipes. The card is kept in a white and orange color scheme, as inspired by the orange cat from space (that’s indeed the story).

Colorfire claims that thanks to DLSS3 gamers can experience smooth esports gameplay and ‘double the joy of cat petting’. One might assume this refers to the game called Stray, where one plays as a cat.

This new MEOW GPU will enter a large ecosystem of peripherals such as mouses, keyboards, storage, cases, and even CPU coolers. The company did not announce pricing. As for availability, the card will only be sold in China.
