GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB drops to $419, first Radeon RX 7700 XT cards at $409

Popular NVIDIA and AMD GPUs are on track to reach $400 soon

The RTX 4060 Ti marks another price cut, while the AMD GPU is now below MSRP.

As we suspected, the competition among major GPU vendors is heating up in the upper-midrange segment. With AMD’s recent price change for the Radeon RX 7700 XT, the first major NVIDIA board partner has decided to lower the price for its RTX 4060 Ti 16GB model. This card was launched at $499 more than a half a year ago, but was quick to receive price adjustments from retailers.

Currently, you can find MSI RTX 4060 Ti 16GB model based on VENTUS 3X OC design at $419. This price is a result of two promotions, the mail-in-rebate of $20 and an additional $30 off coupon applied at checkout. This means that the card has effectively dropped to the lowest price in weeks.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT has recently been discounted officially to $419, but it only took a week to see the first retailer going even lower. At $409 one can now find two models which are exclusively available at this price thanks to $10 coupons. Those cards are SAPPHIRE Pulse and ASROCK Challenger, so the entry-level offering no doubt.

At this rate, we expect Radeon RX 7700 XT to drop below $400 very soon. This model was never among the most popular cards in the RDNA3 lineup, but thanks to AMD lowering the MSRP, retailers and AIBs will have more headroom for competition. This competition is getting more and more intense.
