Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming to PC on May 16
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is making its way to PC, marking the first-ever appearance of a Sucker Punch title on the platform. Nixxes, in collaboration with the team at Sucker Punch Productions, is all set to introduce Jin’s story in open-world action adventure style to the platform.

The game will be released as a Director’s Cut version, which will bring expansions called Iki Island. It will also have a cooperative multiplayer “Legends” mode. This is the first time to feature Sucker Punch game engine on PCs. The company promises to deliver various graphics settings and presets, allow many customizations for keyboards and mouse, as well as a full experience with unlocked framerate.
The PC release of Ghost of Tsushima will support ultrawide monitors, including 21:9, 32:9 and even 48:9 aspect ratio for those who use three monitors. It shouldn’t be a problem to run the game on such a setup, considering that the game is confirmed to support all three major upscaling technologies: XeSS, DLSS3 and FSR3. Interestingly, it will also support DLAA mode and FSR3 in native AA for those who prioritize higher quality antialiasing over framerate.
“We’re proud to announce that our friends and partners over at Nixxes are bringing Ghost of Tsushima to PC! This is a first for Sucker Punch – all our previous work is console-exclusive, so we are excited about all this and Nixxes was the right team to do this project. With them on board, we knew the results would be nothing short of amazing! Now excuse me as I go order a Super Ultra Wide monitor!”
– Brian Fleming, Co-Founder, Sucker Punch
Gamers used to playing with controllers should know that the game will support Steam input support as well as PlayStation Dual Sense with haptic feedback. The game officially released on May 16 and the preorder comes with some in-game unlocks such as New Game+ Horse, Traveler’s Attire and Broken Arms dyes from Baku’s shop.
