AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D now available at $389

The record low price.

We’ve got another cool deal from major US retailers today, this time featuring the AMD Zen4 desktop CPU with 3D V-Cache. It appears that the 7900X3D has just recorded its lowest price yet.

Amazon and Newegg have both reduced the price of AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D. This is the second time they have done this since the beginning of the year. This 12-core processor has been on never-ending price adjustment, launching at $599 and then dropping quickly to $500 in 2023 and $450 US dollars this year. Last month it reached the lowest price yet of $410 and later $400.

The current price is $389, which is a price cut that officially lowers it below $400 for the first time since launch, and now $210 less than it was when it first launched.

Since both retailers have priced matched each other, one can assume that this was a planned promotion and something that AMD was involved in. Currently, it is unclear how long will it last and if this is the last price cut for this processor. The 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D currently retails at $369, which makes this deal even more interesting given the 20 dollar gap and 4-core difference. Naturally, the 7800X3D should still be a better choice for pure gaming purposes.
