GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs fall below MSRP in Germany

NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER already below MSRP

PC Games Hardware and ComputerBase report that you can find NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER models for less than what they cost when they first came out 2 months ago. While small price changes are to be expected and frankly have not been particularly surprising with past GPU releases, the RTX 40 SUPER cards appear to experience this a lot faster.

The RTX 4070 SUPER which launched at $599 and €659 is already sold at €589, reports the German media. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER which debuted at $799/€889 has already dropped to €840. The slowest decline thus far is reported for RTX 4080 SUPER. The GPU is now available at €1,092 which is a small drop from€1,109 at its debut in late January.

Typically, when discussing non-USD MSRP one must account for currency exchange rates, but in this case, USD to EUR is nearly at the same level as it was when RTX 40 SUPER came out.

This price drop is not a major one yet, but the trend is clearly going into one direction. At the moment, when some retailers still have non-SUPER variants available, the new cards no only have to compete with NVIDIA’s own offering, but Radeon GPUs which are also experiencing price adjustments.
