Summer Game Fest 2024 arrives June 7

With E3 officially cancelled, all gamers eyes are now turning to Summer Game Fest, the annual event focusing on new game releases. Just like the Game Awards, the Summer Game Fest is hosted by a known game journalist and entrepreneur, Geoff Keighley.
As the name suggests, the event typically takes place during the summer period and is celebrated through multiple live streams. The event was created in 2020 as a response to the cancellation of prominent industry events like Gamescom and the now-discontinued E3. Summer Game Fest brings together gaming enthusiasts, developers, and industry professionals to celebrate the best of gaming culture and community.
The Summer Game Fest goal is to promote games from all platforms and all publishers. Gamers should expect game reveals, trailers and updates.

The event has now been set to June 7 at 2PM Pacific Time US or 9PM GMT time. It will take place in YouTube Theater, located in the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, US. Gamers can attend the event physically or watch it live. Geoff confirms that tickets will be sold starting from May 7. The event is expected to last for two hours.
Summer Game Fest will take place 4 days after Computex 2024 kicks off. This week will be a very busy week for PC hardware enthusiasts and gamers.
