The upcoming e-sport event called PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will be powered by AMD CPU and GeForce GPU. The announcement confirms that all gaming rigs will sport AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the 8-core Zen4 processor with 3D V-Cache. These systems will also feature GeForce RTX 4080 of unknown brand and will be connected to ZOWIE XL2566K monitors.
The monitor itself is a 24.5 inch 360 Hz panel with 1920×1080 resolution. It’s an official panel for Valorant tournaments, and it is now selected as the monitor for a PGL Major competition for Counter Strike 2.
PGL Optimized Rigs:
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 7800 X3D
- GPU: GEFORCE RTX 4080
- MONITOR: ZOWIE XL2566K
One might wonder if RTX 4080 is a good pick for 1080p resolution, but it would be reasonable to expect maximum quality settings at targeted refresh rate at all times. The 7800X3D, considered the best gaming CPU on the market, should be a perfect choice as well. Similar systems can easily achieve 500+ FPS at High Settings.
PGL is committed to providing the best possible competitive environment for the players. By choosing the AMD RYZEN 7800 X3D for our gaming setups, we’re ensuring that the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will be remembered not only for its intense competition but also for its flawless technical execution.
