AMD flagship CPU with 3D V-Cache now at $565

In the last few weeks, AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors have been discounted quite frequently. Particularly, retailer’s attention has been on the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, a 12-core CPU that historically hasn’t seen much popularity among gamers (for a good reason). It has recently reached a record low price of $389. Close behind in terms of price was the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, AMD’s top gaming CPU, priced just $40 higher. Regrettably, both of these offers have expired.

However, what is available today is the 16-core variant, the highest tier option in AMD’s current lineup. Despite its higher core count, it doesn’t compromise on the advantages of 3D V-cache for gaming. Users have the flexibility to prioritize individual chiplets for different purposes, ensuring optimal performance across various tasks.

Worth noting that AMD’s price change for the 7950X3D arrived just one day after Intel launched its Core i9-14900KS processor. The latter is the fastest Intel desktop CPU currently on the market, but it costs over $134 more than the AMD processor, while not being much faster on average in gaming.
