GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is now much cheaper than SUPER
MSI has lowered the price for its Ventus 2X cards, well below $700 mark.
In January, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER hit the shelves, taking over from its predecessor at the $799 price point. Retailers are now gradually tweaking this suggested retail price due to the intense competition from AMD’s Radeon RX 7800/7900 series.
Despite expectations for the RTX 4070 Ti non-SUPER to vanish from shelves, it’s still hanging around, albeit at a much more attractive price point.
MSI has responded by slashing prices on its Ventus 2X models. Both the white and black versions are now priced below $700. The white edition, typically pricier than its black counterpart, is currently listed at $679.99 on Newegg. Similarly, the RTX 4070 Ti Ventus Black is now going for $689.99, thanks to $40 off coupons available on Newegg and Amazon.

The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER boasts 8448 CUDA cores and an AD103 GPU, while the original model features a full AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores. The key point of differentiation between the two lies in their memory configurations. The SUPER version sees an upgrade from 12GB to 16GB of GDDR6X memory, whereas the original model operates on a narrower 192-bit memory bus.
Both versions of the RTX 4070 Ti now find themselves up against competition from the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. This Radeon model offers 16GB of VRAM and a Navi 31XL GPU. Notably, it comes with a price tag of $549, undercutting even the MSI 4070 Ti models.
