Radeon RX 7900 XTX again at $899
MSI has lowered the price for its ‘CLASSIC’ model.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, a flagship graphics card, has been absent from the $900 price point for some time now. While it occasionally dipped below $800 briefly, such offers were short-lived. However, there’s now a promising deal on the RX 7900 XTX from MSI.
MSI’s Gaming Trio Classic variant of the card features an older cooler design. While it may seem like a lackluster effort from the company, as many of their cards in this generation sport similar coolers, the cooler on this particular model is surprisingly well-built. Reviews have been positive.

If ray tracing games aren’t a primary concern, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX offers a better value proposition compared to the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, which made its debut just six weeks ago. Despite NVIDIA’s price adjustment to $999, their model still lags behind the Radeon GPU in overall performance metrics, as indicated by sources like TechPowerUP .
One significant advantage of the AMD card is its larger memory capacity of 24GB, whereas the RTX 4080 SUPER comes with 16GB of VRAM out of the box. Essentially, this means that the MSI RX 7900 XTX is currently the most affordable 24GB model available in the US market.
