Corsair has unveiled a new white color option for its RMx SHIFT Series of ATX 3.0 power supplies. The RMx SHIFT is a special series of power supplies that have an unusual side-mounted DC connector panel for simplified cable management.
The RMx SHIFT White PSU will be available in 750, 850, 1000, and 1200 wattages. Its side panel design gives builders access to all micro-fit connectors, streamlining installation and maintenance. This design also reduces cable strain by minimizing bending and twisting, ensuring longevity for cables and connectors, it is claimed. However, for this to be true, one must ensure that the supply will fit into the chassis with adequate spare room.

The new white color option has the same underlying tech as the black version, which in this case means premium 105 °C-rated Japanese capacitors, and a 140 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan and 80 Plus Gold power efficiency.

The side-panel does not have a native 12VHPWR power connector, but the company is providing a suitable cable fully compatible with this standard. It is said that this in ATX 3.0 PSU design, so it is not the 12V-6×2 connector from ATX 3.1 series.
Worth noting that the connections will vary depending on the PSU model, so here’s a clear view on all of them, starting with the most beefy 1200W version.
