XFX adds USB Type-C to Speedster Merc319

Just a heads up to those looking for a new card. We received an email from one of our readers that our database has the wrong specifications listed for the XFX Radeon RX 6800 XT Speedster Merc 319. As matter of fact, the information posted there was correct, it was XFX who changed the design of their card.

The change is a very small one, but yet it might be a crucial one when looking for a new graphics card. As it turns out, XFX removed one DisplayPort 1.4 connector and replaced it with USB Type-C (which basically carries the same signal). But this means that the card does not have three DPs and one HDMI, but one HDMI, two DP, and a USB Type-C connector.

As proof, we have the renders that were published by XFX on the launch day and new photos there were uploaded by the manufacturer later:

The official specifications do not even list the USB connector, which implies that the change must have been recent:
