ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 Mini-PC with Intel Core Ultra CPU listed in China at 720 USD

ASUS PN65 pricing emerges in China

Unveiled at the beginning of the year, the ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 is the latest compact yet powerful mini PC designed for both business and industrial applications. Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors with Intel Arc Graphics, this mini PC improved performance over a predecessor based on Raptor Lake. Furthermore, it adds the new NPU unit that enables new AI applications.

Under the hood, the PC comes with two Intel Core Ultra CPUs: either the Core Ultra 5 125H (14 cores & 18 threads) or Core Ultra 7 155H, with 16 cores and 22 threads. The system is equipped with DDR5-5600 memory and supports up to 48 GB x2 capacity, so a total of 96 GB.

The ExpertCenter PN65 stands out from typical Mini-PC systems due to its versatile connectivity options. Users have the flexibility to select from various ports including USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, COM, and VGA connectors. The PC supports up to seven USB ports and Intel 2.5G LAN. You can actually see that ASUS shows three options for each system, so make sure to check what system is sold by the retailer exactly:

The system was just listed in China, which is our first look at the pricing and rough estimate on its market position.

ASUS ExpertCenter PN65 pricing (China)

  • Core Ultra 5 125H (16GB RAM + 512GB SSD): 5199 RMB (722 USD)
  • Core Ultra 7 155H (16GB RAM + 512GB SSD): 6199 RMB (861 USD)

For comparison, the Core i5-13500H costs 3999 RMB and the i7-13700H currently retails at 5899. Both options have the same RAM and storage options. So the system is no doubt pricier than Raptor Lake, however the difference between 13700H and 155H versions is not significant.

Worth adding that the PN65 supports up to quad 4K displays at 60 Hz. Powering the display and graphics is a built-in Arc GPU featuring either 7 or 8 Xe-Cores, it’s a major update over the predecessor no doubt, but probably not as powerful as AMD RDNA3 iGPUs.
