AMD Ryzen 8000F, Hawk Point without RDNA3 iGPU
AMD is launching new Ryzen 8000 processors.
AMD has announced a new budget-friendly Ryzen 8000F series, supposedly for the Chinese market only. The new series called Ryzen 8000F, as the name suggests, is based on the Hawk Point series but will lack support for integrated graphics.
It is believed that 8700F should launch with 8 cores and 16 threads, featuring a configuration similar to the 8700G processors. Meanwhile, the 8400F might be harder to guess, as the name sits between 8500G and 8300G, both featuring vastly different configurations. An educated guess would be 6 cores and 12 threads, possibly with 2 Zen4 and 4 Zen4c cores.

The processor was announced during an event in China, suggesting that this SKU is not coming to the global market, at least not in the first launch wave.
Worth adding that AMD already offers a iGPU less Ryzen 7500F processor, however in this case, the graphics which are disabled feature only 2 CUs, whereas in the case of 8700F that’s 12 CU cores not available.
