Onda H610 motherboard supports two memory standards
Why pick one when you can use both (not at the same time).
Onda, a Chinese tech company better known for its cheap graphics cards, has introduced a budget motherboard featuring support for two memory standards. It was built upon the Intel H610M chipset and adopted a Micro-ATX form factor.
This motherboard is compatible with both DDR5 and DDR4 memory, featuring two standard UDIMM slots. While Onda has not officially listed this model on their website, it’s available on platforms like AliExpress, hinting that it may be a new product or exclusive to this e-tailer. However, the lack of detailed specifications directly from the company, means that we have to rely on information provided by the seller.
Reportedly, the H610M+ board is compatible with 12th Gen Core CPUs (Alder Lake), while support for future generations like 13th and 14th Gen CPUs remains unconfirmed. Despite featuring the LGA-1700 socket, compatibility with upcoming firmware updates might pose a challenge.

According to sellers, the motherboard supports memory capacities of 16GB and 32GB, with DDR4 modules reaching speeds up to 3200 MT/s and DDR5 modules hitting up to 4800 MT/s. Notably, it seems these memory standards cannot be used simultaneously.
Priced at $170, this motherboard might seem steep for a budget offering. Its unconventional design suggests potential utility in business or office settings where upgrade flexibility is valued more than performance. Perhaps the board is sold at a lower price elsewhere because at the listed prices that’s hardly a good deal.
