ASUS to launch battery-powered power station for gamers
The company confirms it’s not a an April Fool’s joke.
ASUS is set to respond to the gaming community’s outdoor needs with its latest announcement. The company revealed that the ROG Mjolnir, a power station designed for gamers, will be officially unveiled at this year’s Computex event.
The Mjolnir features four power outlets along with two USB Type-A and two USB Type-C power connectors. Drawing inspiration from Norse mythology, particularly Thor’s legendary hammer, the design of the station is reminiscent of the hammer called Mjölnir. It will accompany other products inspired by the mythology, particularly the ROG Thor power supply series in its lineup.
ASUS hasn’t disclosed the specific capacity options for the Mjolnir series. Worth mentioning that the handle appears to double as an additional torch or light source.

ASUS is gearing up to launch the Mjolnir at Computex 2024, scheduled to commence on June 4th. While ASUS has yet to confirm any press events for the Taiwanese expo officially, it appears to be merely a formality given the impending release of various laptop and desktop related products.
