Epic Games is giving away a copy of The Outer Worlds

The game was already available for free in December.

GThe Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is once again available for free on the Epic Games Store. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division, The Outer Worlds is a single-player first-person sci-fi RPG set in the Halcyon colony. Players awaken decades later on a colonist ship, thrown into a galaxy filled with conspiracy and adventure.

The Spacer’s Choice Edition, released in May 2023, offers a remastered experience of the 2019 classic with improved graphics, enhanced performance, additional animations, higher-res environments, and more. Plus, it supports AMD FSR 2.0 technology for smoother gameplay.

For those who already own The Outer Worlds and its DLC on the Epic Games Store, there’s an opportunity to upgrade to The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition at no additional cost.

The recommended PC requirements for the Spacer’s Edition list GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or RTX 2070 GPU, alternatively you can play the game with RX 6700 XT. The minimum requirements list GTX 1060 or RX 590.

The game will available for free on the Epic Games Store until April 11th. After this date, another great game will be offered free of charge: Ghostrunner.
