Acer Predator X49 X revealed

Acer has unveiled details about its premium OLED monitor, following a teaser before Computex. Until now, there hadn’t been any official specs or formal announcements. Acer recently released a video showcasing important details about the monitor.
The Predator X49 X is an ultra-wide monitor with a resolution of 5120×1440 (DQHD) and a 32:9 aspect ratio. The Acer monitor features a curved design with a curvature of 1800R. It uses OLED display technology and reportedly shares the same display as the Red Magic Realm 49″ and Philips 49M2C8900. The panel size measures 48.9 inches and incorporates QD-OLED technology developed by Samsung.

In terms of brightness, Acer confirms 250 nits of typical brightness and peaks at 1000 nits. Like most high-end OLED panels, it is certified with the DisplayHDR True Black 400 badge. It also supports HDR10 mode.
The monitor has a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 0.3 ms response time. The monitor has variable refresh support through AMD FreeSync Premium. Users can connect the monitor using HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4; alternatively, there is a USB Type-C port which also provides 90W for power delivery. There is also a built-in KVM switch and support for two inputs for dual 2K displaymode at the same time.
Acer is yet to confirm the full specs, as well as pricing and release date.
