Getting closer to 9 GHz: V-Color launches Manta XFinity DDR5-8600 OC memory

V-COLOR announces the release of a New DDR5 8600MHz OC memory

Just 400 MHz more to reach 9 GHz.

V-Color has announced their Manta Xfinity memory will support up to 8600 MT/s speed through Intel XMP 3.0 profile. This speed has been confirmed to be compatible with two ASRock motherboards.

The Manta Xfinity memory features an XMP profile supporting 8600 MT/s transfer speed and 40-54-54-132-186 timing at 1.45 volts, which is certified for ASRock Phantom Gaming Z790I Lightning WIFI and PHANTOM GAMING B760I Lightning Wi-Fi motherboards. Those are the new Mini-ITX boards that the company recently introduced .

According to V-Color, the 8600 MT/s speed will work with Intel 14th Gen Core CPUs, with no word on the 13th and 12th Gen Core series. Worth noting that this type of memory uses up to two modules with up to 24 GB of capacity. Currently this speed is not available with 32 or 64GB modules.

The company has presented its DDR5 memory working with Core i5-14600K and Core i9-14900K processors, both options using mentioned ASRock motherboards.

According to V-Color, the new kit will be available starting from mid-June . One might wonder if by that time Intel will showcase its Core Ultra 200 series based on Arrow Lake.
