Biostar launches budget-friendly Intel Arc A750 GPU

Biostar launches Arc A750 with OC

The company has just announced its first Arc A750 GPU.

Biostar has launched its new Arc GPU, the A750 model, with factory overclocking. This marks the release of the second GPU in the Arc series from Biostar, following the A380 model which was released a few months ago. The company hasn’t put much effort into the design; in fact, it’s one of the cards that we’ve already seen on the market.

According to Biostar, the Arc A750 OC is a ‘powerhouse’, featuring Arc A750 specs of 28 Xe-Cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The card adheres to Intel’s default board power of 225W. It supports a full PCIe Gen4 x16 slot and offers modern display outputs, including three DisplayPort 2.0 and one HDMI 2.0 output (not 2.1). The company recommends a 650W power supply, and it requires two standard PCIe 8-pin connectors.

Biostar Arc A750 OC

  • Xe-Cores: 28
  • Graphics Clock: 2200 MHz
  • Memory: 8GB GDDR6 @16Gbps
  • Memory Interface: 256 bit
  • TBP: 225W (Recommended: 650W)
  • System Interface: PCIe Gen4.0 x16
  • Output: 3 x DP2.0, 1 x HDMI 2.0

A standout feature of the Biostar A750 is the color of its PCB. It’s rare to come across a blue design, especially one that also features blue power connectors. As mentioned, this design is not unique; a Japanese company, Kurotoshikou, has already released the exact same design but with no stickers. Previously, only Sparkle was using a blue PCB and power connectors, leading us to believe that they are the OEM supplier for both companies.

While Intel officially claims A750 has 2050 MHz clock reference GPU Clock, the Biostar design ships with a 2.2 GHz GPU Clock, which is a somewhat standard clock across all custom Arc A750 models. The Biostar A750 is aimed to be priced at Intel’s MSRP, which is currently $249, but in reality, it can be found for less than $200.
