FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrail benchmark now available to download for free

Final Fantasy XIV came out in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Windows platforms, but has seen several important updates along the way. The most recent update called Downtrail will come out this July, and it will bring the biggest graphics update for this game thus far.
According to the developer, Square Enix, the game will receive better support for screen wide aesthetics, improved texture and shadow resolution, improved materials qualities but will keep the existing style. Worth adding that the Downtrail update arrives nearly 3 years after the Endwalker benchmark .

Despite the update, the benchmark scores remain unchanged from the previous version. If your system achieves 15000 points or more, you can run the game at its highest settings. You can also make your own character just for the purpose of this benchmark.

The FF14 benchmark has five graphics settings: Maximum, High (desktop), High (laptop), Standard (desktop) and standard (laptop). The minimum requirements for the game list GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 480 graphics, while recommended system specs list GeForce RTX 2050 or Radeon RX 5600 XT. The game supports FSR 1.0 and DLSS 2.0.

The game is set to be released on July 2nd. The benchmark can already be downloaded and used for testing.
