Gigabyte confirms its first XTREME products in the ICE series.

On April 1st, Gigabyte Vietnam revealed details about the upcoming product launch, featuring a high-end Z790 motherboard and RTX 4080 SUPER. Despite the date, those were indeed real products and they are officially being released today.

The company launched AORUS RTX 4080 SUPER XTREME ICE 16GB graphics card, which offers a boost clock up to 2700 MHz. Such frequency is the highest among all known RTX 4080 SUPER models. The cooler is equipped with three 110 mm fans with a shark fin design. Underneath the cooler, there is a vapor chamber with a twelve-heat pipe system that will have no issue providing the necessary heat dissipation for this premium GPU, especially when running at max boost.

Now, speaking of premium features. The card has a limited edition exclusive plaque which is 99% made from gold. Gigabyte is not confirming how many cards will be made, but leaks suggest only 500 will be produced. Speaking of premium and rare metals, the side also has a crystallized titanium finish. Users will also learn that the card is equipped with a color LCD display. It can show GPU information, text, pictures, and GIFs.
