NVIDIA “SFF Enthusiast GeForce” initiative set to promote smaller graphics cards for SFF PC builders

NVIDIA SFF Enthusiast GeForce program going live soon

NVIDIA is working on a new program for Small Form Factor PC builders.

According to a report from Wccftech , NVIDIA wants to help people who want to build smaller computers by providing them with new guidelines. These guidelines will be shared with NVIDIA partners and gamers who are intending to build compact PCs.

This initiative does not signify the launch of a new brand or a new series of graphics cards by NVIDIA. Instead, it seeks to promote smaller GPUs under a distinctive label called “SFF Enthusiast GeForce.” This label will be applied to both existing and new graphics cards that meet the criteria, although these criteria were not specified in the report.

Wccftech notes that NVIDIA’s focus on SFF designs is not confined only to Mini-ITX cards. While full details on this program have not been disclosed yet, it is mentioned that compact graphics cards in non-ITX form factors will also be included.

Enthusiasts around the world are choosing Small Form Factor chassis for their dream rigs.
However, when building around modern enthusiast GPUs, finding the best components for a SFF (Small Form Factor) build can be challenging.
NVIDIA has developed form factor guidelines to help Gamers pick the best GeForce RTX GPU and components for their SFF build.
These guidelines provide dimensions and clearances between enthusiast graphics cards and SFF chassis, creating a standard for AIC and chassis manufacturers to help make building SFF Gaming PCs a great experience.

Moreover, the program extends beyond GPUs to encompass chassis, power supplies, and other essential components. It is understood that PCs from system integrators containing components meeting the guidelines will bear the SFF label. Efforts to include dual and even triple-fan GPU configurations into smaller computer cases have gained attention from Intel and ASUS. However, these systems tend to come with high price tags and limited options for upgrades. Introducing the SFF GeForce program might help make such setups more budget-friendly.

NVIDIA has not yet confirmed the launch date for the new SFF program, but it could happen at any moment. Evidently, board partners have already been informed, so it wouldn’t be surprising to encounter graphics cards now featuring this new label.
