ELSA launches RTX 4080 SUPER, the fastest ADA model yet

Japanese ELSA has launched its new graphics card based on an existing design.

ELSA and Inno3D have collaborated to launch the RTX 4080 SUPER. This new model boasts a dual-slot design based on the Inno3D X3 series, now marketed under ELSA’s S.A.C. (Silent Air Cooling). Equipped with three 96 mm fans and 7 heatpipes, the cooler offers a total dissipating area of 670656 mm2, as claimed.

Featuring an improved RTX 4080 model with AD103-400 GPU and 10240 CUDA cores, the card offers the same memory capacity as the previously released RTX 4070 Ti SUPER: 16 GB GDDR6X 256-bit. Unlike many RTX 4080 SUPER, this model is only dual-slot in design, however one should note that it is a relatively large model still, measuring 33.7 × 14.1 × 4.0 cm.

ELSA’s RTX 4080 SUPER becomes the flagship model in their RTX 40 series lineup, as the company hasn’t launched the RTX 4080 non-SUPER or RTX 4090 models. Alongside gaming GPUs, ELSA offers a range of NVIDIA RTX workstation models.

The card comes without factory overclocking, shipping with NVIDIA reference clocks of 2550 MHz boost and 23 Gbps memory, while adhering to NVIDIA’s official TDP of 320W. Equipped with four display connectors – 3x DP 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1a – it provides versatility for various display setups.
