High-end gaming laptop with external liquid-cooled radiator
Mechrevo has released its new series of laptops powered by Intel’s latest 14th Gen Core-HX CPU series.
Chinese company Mechrevo is introducing its new laptop series today, named Mechrevo Kuangshi 16 Super and Yanshi 16 Super Supreme. This series features water-cooled laptops powered by Intel 55W Core-HX processors. Specifically, the laptop will only be available with one CPU option: the 24-core Core i9-14900HX processor with a boost up to 5.8 GHz.

The difference between the models lies in their GPU configurations and cooling methods. The company has announced RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 models, both housed in the same chassis with attachable liquid tubes at the back. Gamers can choose to use the external radiator or rely on the integrated dual-fan cooler. This design resembles that of many OEM brands like XMG Neo, indicating a similar approach. While the laptop chassis may differ, the external radiator seems to be largely the same.

In terms of specifications, the Kuangshi 16 Super features a 2560×1600 16-inch display, with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the laptop is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 outputs.
These laptops are priced at around 20,000 RMB for the RTX 4090 model and 15,000 RMB for the RTX 4080 version. Alternatively, gamers have the option of a non-water-cooled model, which costs around 1,000 RMB less.
